Here are 4 questions for you:

  1. Are you a current or future ENT professional?
  2. Are you attending the 5th Congress of European ORL-HNS from June 29 to July 3 2019 in Brussels?
  3. Do you have a smart phone or tablet with a camera that can connect to WIFI?
  4. Do you have a Twitter or Instagram account?

If you answered “yes” to all of them, why not join our Social Media Team which will be reporting live about the program of CEORL-HNS 2019 on site in Brussels?

Why this is a good thing:

  • We are proud of our scientific program and want to get a conversation going about it on social media
  • We want to show the world the many voices of the Confederation
  • We have up to 16 parallel sessions, so we need somebody in each of them to get the word out
  • You can choose your specialty and attend any sessions you like – just make sure you send a tweet or Insta story at least once during each session

What’s in it for you?

  • A FREE ticket to the Congress Evening on Monday, July 1
  • A mention on our website and shares with your name on official CEORL-HNS 2019 social media channels whenever appropriate

New video series

The Confederation is introducing a new mini video series to promote our upcoming congress in Brussels. Proud representatives of CEORL-HNS member societies explain their reasons for attending the 5th Congress of European ORL-HNS in Brussels, from June 29 to July 3 2019 and for being part of the Confederation.

To do all this, they only have one minute, resulting in short yet informative videos we call “1-Minute Races”. Have a look at our YouTube Channel or watch them here:

Early Registration Deadline extended!

The early registration deadline for the Congress of European ORL-HNS 2019 has just been extended until March 25. More than 1.000 delegates have already registered for this major event in Brussels and we have received so many requests to extend the deadline that the Confederation had decided to concur and give everybody some more weeks to finalise administrative details with their organisations.

Registration is especially good value for our young colleagues, who will receive a special discount. This year for the first time, the Confederation is introducing “Basic ENT”, a multi-day track dedicated entirely to trainees and young ENT professionals

As a bonus, here are 5 Brussels things you can enjoy with all that money you‘re saving by registering before March 25:

  • Get 11 boxes of Belgian chocolate for your loved ones back home (or to savour yourself)
  • Bring 6 friends to step inside the famous Atomium with you (just watching from outside is free
  • Invest in 8 classic Tintin comic books (or other famous works of Belgian graphic genius)
  • Sample up to 27 bottles of Belgian beer (you may want to share these with some colleagues)
  • 40 rides on the tram that will bring you to the European Parliament (entry is free for everyone

CEORL-HNS 2019 introduces new “Basic ENT“ track

One of the most exciting new features at the 2019 Congress of the Confederation of European ORL-HNS is the brand-new “Basic ENT“ track completely geared towards ENT trainees and young professionals. The track will run in parallel to the rest of the congress program and last for the full duration of CEORL-HNS 2019.

In terms of content, Basic ENT will cover a broad range of clinical topics in a practical and interactive manner. In addition, young professionals will be able to acquire skills in related fields such as writing publications, presenting at meetings and practicing Evidence Based Medicine. Other highlights include the UEMS/EBE-ORL mock exam and the Golden Resident Quiz.

Basic ENT requires no separate registration and is included in the overall congress attendance, thus allowing for networking opportunities between young colleagues and more experienced professionals. Attractive fees are available for residents below the age of 35.
